I'm at GMR almost every weekend.  Where are you guys planning to ride?  BTW, any carb experts near Cerritos, Norwalk area, bike is out of action due to maybe a stuck float and needle.

I'm down in San Diego but still a noob to riding.  Maybe when I get some more miles on my new toy I'll come out (if we ever get enough people).

I would love to join you guys. I am usually available on all sundays and saturdays. Right now, I need two weeks to work on my bike. Starting assembly, valves, carbs, sparks, air filters, oil filters, brakes need some massaging  8)

Keep posting whenever you guys want to meet up and ride. oops, I stay at LaJolla by the way.

July sounds best should be great weather. sats work best for me but I could do sundays as well if needed. As far as location goes the meet spot will be neutral to the majoritys area. but may be far from some so a later meet time can be aranged for other riders. so where would you guys like to ride to? give me some ideas on a cruise, canyon run.ect whatever.

from what  few other members and me did was meet in newport beach and ride that to malibu then took a good pased ride down one of the twisties. if we did malibu I would pick latigo canyon i has some great turns and very few cars the few times I been down it. jack in the box is in that area and someother places for food.

Post by: mach1 on June 19, 2008, 09:32:34 PM
ok I think Its time to set a date and organize the ride so far these are the users I have down to go.
Respite
Nikux
Nepix( hasnt ben only latley after his move)
Erbilabuc
Qwertydude
FlyingMachine(if willing to ride malibu)
Yenool
Joebothehobo
Astroaru
Mikesbike
Robbie
Mr.wikes
Fred
and Me
That makes 14 bikes if all show up

So this is my plan changes and additions can be made
We will meet at the wendys/starbucks by the hawthorne airport where they have sportbike night(W 120thand crenshaw) . and from their jump on the 105 to the 405 to the 10 to PCH than head up kanan dume Rd to mulholland hwy eat at the rock store hangout and when everyones ready we will head down mulholland and get back on kanan dume Rd and from their hit up latigo canyon Rd and back to PCH and we can stop at the closest gas station or big parking lot and say our goodbyes and we can go our ouw ways from their unless we pick a good ending location close to a neutral freeway. filling up before we go upto malibu is a must

I would be down for a Mallibu ride.

We can meet on PCH and Latigo Cyn. I figure this would be a good meeting spot for people coming from Ventura county, like me, Los Angeles, OC, San Gabriel, etc. Go up Latigo, right on Kanan, Right on Mulholland, Down the Snake, then hang out at the Rockstore. Proceed onto Mulholland, Right on Cold Cyn, Take Piuma, Sheren, Down Stunt, Go back to the Rockstore to get water, Go up the snake, Keep going down Mulholland to the PCH then cruise by Neptunes net.

We can also take Decker down to PCH.

sorry guys for keeping quite. I guess I will not be able to join you because I live all the way down south and it is like 140 mi from where most of you seem to live. It makes little sense to drive all the north alone and join you guys and then come back alone.  :bs:

If someone is doing a ride in and around the san diego area let me know. I will join in a heart beat. My bike is up and running now.

Hello everyone,

I ride almost every weekend, usually head to Julian and Borrego Springs. If anyone is interested in heading out there I am game. I leave early around 7AM and usually meet up with other riders in South O.C and head out from there.

Now that the weather is warming up I head up to Big Bear during late Spring, Summer and Fall, up until the snow begins to fall.

I live in L.A, pretty close to Inglewood. My GS is still down but I do have a second bike which I ride every weekend. I've been riding solo lately as I can't seem to find anyone who wants to ride something other than PCH which is not something I find interesting. If you want to head out sometime to somewhere with some twists and tursn in it I'd be more than iterested.
