pretty sure you can just wire into the right side coil (two wires to two wire)

Use the Black/yellow wire on right coil for the tach signal.

Its a Yellow wire on my Model , its just wrapped 2-5 times round the Coil , i used the stock tach on , and wired up the Acewell , until i got get the closest match , and the speedo was just a epoxyed magnet and a cable tie to hold the sensor on , i didnt have any problems

I havent picked her up yet , still getting serviced , sum1 knocked one of the indicators and crack the fairing , so they are Having it plastic welded and touched up for free, as i put the deposit down  with the bike in Great condition , i think ive found another bike ,  which means , i might not get the Sv

Darbs ., i run half the wires under the tank , i ran the power thro the Headlight , theres a postive out , that turns on with the lights on , and i drive with my lights on ,

i had it wired into the wiring loom , and it worked when you turn the lights on , but its better to keep them on day or night , the backlight is on the acewell all the time , u cant see it during the day , i didnt take pics of it when i had it on the 1996, ill have a mock up on the 2001 and do a write up ? with pics

gimme a few days
