As long as the bars are 7/8" they should work. Do a search for dirtbike bars to see if you get any pictures of people who have done it in the past.
cheers dude will give it a go

The only issue you may have would be cable length. Your choke, throttle and brake line may not reach (easily) :thumb:
i have a set off renthals , there black in damn good nick , can send u pics?
also , what model is it , coz the pre 01 dont have space for renthals , but i have a complete 2001 top tripple , put ur forks in it , then bolt it on , and there we go
Just keep in mind blue, that aluminum bars are thicker to achieve the same strength. If you want bar ends, you will have to drill out the end of the bar, or wittle down the bar end. 2.5" rise won't be a problem for cables.

This is off the main topic but I just have to say ImportBabe, you're bike looks sick. I love the look. What kind of exhaust is on the bike? It looks like a full system but I can't tell for sure. Anyway, looks great. Nice job

Do the bars provide you with an even more up right ridding position, and if so how might it compair with handelbar risers. I t dose look nice ! --JIM :)

helkl yes. Its a way more comfortable ride. feels more like a bicycle with a motor. Handle bar risers wont help if you have stock bars. I have the "fat bars" with the mounting kit that actually raises it another inch or inch and half.
If you don't mind spreading the wealth, how much, what are the part numbers, and where did you get this handelbar set up from ? Thanks in advance, JIM :)
indeed

Thirded! :thumb:
some guy off ebay was selling an acerbis headlight with the handlebar set up for a cbr1000rr with the throttle tube. It went for 60$ shipped for everything and all i needed was the throttle tube but then the gs came around and I used the parts on it. I have no idea what the details are on the handlebars. Just look for the Tag bars that are for atv's. I dont like the crossbars that some of the aftermarket handlebars have. It was pretty much a really lucky break because I put the acerbis headlight back on ebay and it went for 70$.
sorry Im no help with exact details, we might be going on a ride soon but Mike will be the one taking the bike if anyone wants to take a closer look at it.
:) Hey that Black lookes cool !! and the light makes for what tha is it eye turner
So...... Importbabe, where are these parts??? It looks like a bar adapter from 7/8" to 1 1/8" adapter for renthal fatbars or any bigger dirt bar and the bar itself. Is that right??

Hey IB, do you have a link to the universal headlight brackets you used?

Hey IB, do you have a link to the universal headlight brackets you used?
I dont have a link but go to www.denniskirk.com
the headlight brackets is part #H27101 ($10.95 for both sides)
and the mirrors are part # 391615 (12.95 for both sides)
my total was 30.94 for both of these parts shipped to me in California. I chose the mirrors because they were direct fit and are a lower profile then the stock ones but anything above 6500 rpms and they vibrate too much but I dont have dampners in my handlebars.
