Title: I've read the "how to"... still have a sprocket question.
Post by: RobTheTyrant on April 18, 2008, 08:12:17 AM
That small cover on the sprocket cover with the two phillips head screws in it... what does that cover and do I need to do anything to with it to change the sprocket?  Also, the cable that goes into that cover, what does that go to... I've never had that cover off myself so i don't want to pull it off and have parts fall off on me.

NM... i found another post in the FAQ.  but still, if I don't have any problems with my clutch engaging/disengaging, I don't have to screw with this... right?

No, you don't have to mess with it. I didn't when I swapped sprockets, just give everything a good cleaning while you're in there.

If your clutch is fine, leave it.
