and my dvr will be my archos 504. thoughts?
:dunno_white: well since there are no thoughts, what thicknes should i use for teh fender brace/fork brace, and what to use to stop vibes :thumb:
Chuck81 makes those fork braces that everyone seems to like. Good price too, IIRC $40 or something. If you're going to make one, I'd make it at least 10mm thick.

Do not use a solid mount, all vibartion gets transmitted to the camera makes for jittery video.
Rubber vibration damping mucho better.
nice find. ty. will have to check these out. teh ball mount would be perfect   ( never thought id bow down to a liberal )

i'm just curious as to why you want one on the bike. :dunno_white:
to tape rides, and idk for youtubes of the dragon ( which by speed limits im only roughly 40 mins from. also to show ppl some other not so far almost dragonesque areas
cool. hope it works out for you. i have no expertise in the area of this subject, i'm just postwhoring.
i always wanted to record my riding, either for critique or whatnot. or to show some obscure roads and such. it will work. no problem there and with the size of the unit. it wieghs next to nothing :icon_twisted:. maybe altogether 2 pounds camera mount dvr etc
