89' Clip-Ons with 2 original bars(one bent) and 2 bars made by myself. Pictures only show the bars made by myself, and as can be seen the bars just need a quick paint job to make them look perfect. The top plate is in good condition and was painted and clear coated about 2 years ago, and was only on my bike for the summer. Its not perfect by any means but I would give it a B+/A- condition of the paint.

I think he sold it ... not sure ... but it is 3 + months old.
And on an 01+ they will hit the tank at both left and right locks.
The levers may also hit fairing and the brake banjo will hit the dash on all years especially if you have thicker grips.
Cool.

OK bikejunkie In that pic - on the bolts that go around the bars, there is one bolt that is higher than the other. That bolt goes partly through the notch I make in the bar.
I wont make that notch, and I'll bend it and leave you a bit of spare room on the inside too, so you can fit it wider etc etc rotate till you like the angle and location etc and then mark and grind the bar. Its thick walled tubing, so you dont have to be too precise either. 10 mins with a dremel cutting tool followed by 5 mins with grinding tool, or a few seconds with a bench grinder will work well.
