Stock petcock diaphams SUCK! Put the fuel lines back into stock configuration. She just sucks the fuel filter dry! Got the Honda gravity feed on order. But it won't be here till Fri! $@#!^ :o Oh well....the best things ib life are worth waiting for. :icon_mrgreen:
Are you replacing the petcock with one from a Honda? If so which one did you order for your bike, (what year is your bike mine is a 90'), I am looking for an alternative petcock while I have the take off for repairs. If what your getting is not compatable with my year bike do you or does anyone else know of a more affordable alternative then the $110 one I read about?? Thanks in advance, JIM :)
Before dropping any dough, convert your 1989-2000 vacuum petcock to work as a non-vacuum petcock

These should work up to 2000. My bike is a '99 and that was the petcock shown in my write-up

Yep, It grinds down really easily.
Then just pick up a vaccum cap to plug the vaccum line on the carb.
