A Jardine 2in1 exhaust can cost you from an online dealership about $350 or more, but the above exhaust was only used for a few miles before some stupid woman rear ended me at a stop line. She said "I anticipated you moving off, and so I accelerated". I hadn't even moved before she moved me several feet onwards...!
Just wondering if you put too many zeros in the price for the exhaust $500

Around here it cost about $1,100 or more for a brand new one OEM replacement from a dealer !
yet an aftermarket full system costs about 3-$400 :thumb:
Yeah, hate to tell you but that system won't sell for that price. It's way too high. If you want I can tell you how much I sold mine for. Also you may want to do some price comparisons on ebay to get a better price. Again, not trying to be rude or anything, just trying to help you out.
check similar items listed on the board....it will give you an idea of a fair price
the guy wants top $$$$$. I was going to buy the front cowl from this guy but found another for less including mounting bracket headlight mirris and turn signals.
mach be nice
IM nice just dont like to be ripped
Stock exhaust ... is not worth what it will cost to get it shipped. Seriously ...
In fact you'd get more for it if you're willing to hack the can off just at the flare ... header under it needs to stay intact ... shallow cut at the weld there just cutting through the V flare into the can. That may be worth $20 and shipping. But before you cut it off, post saying you can cut it, have the $$ form someone for that and then go ahead and cut it with a dremel tool or sawzall and then send it off. Cheaper to ship and easier to find a box too.
Stock prices on stuff is outrageous, mostly because they want the bikes totalled in case of wrecks and that way you buy a new bike. But also repairs are an in-elastic market at the dealer. Someone walking into a dealers service department is expecting to get butchered. That is how they upsell you or make $$ either way.
What they dont count on is sites like gstwin and e-bay and other things like craigslist etc etc.
Cool.
Buddha.

That's what I did, probably wouldn't have sold it unless I did that.

I've got a friend who lives in Silverlake (close to Dodger Stadium) who needs an exhaust system; he repainted his, then left it in his backyard for the paint to dry while he took his wife shopping. When he got home, the exhaust had been STOLEN by some ignorant asshat... hope he got COVERED in wet paint!
Anyway, I want to buy this as a surprize for him; I'll give you $25 for the whole thing, just as it is...
Guess how much i sold my 1996 exhaust with marks on teh can , but no holes or rust
3 pounds to my friend , there worthless , due to the fact i had a Predetor Exhaust

That's like $6 USD, what a bargain!
Well he had a rusted , blowing exhaust , and i got a 350 quid exhaust with a bike i payed 400 for ... and i had the nexxus which i sold and made my money back , so it was worthless to me , but i happen to have needed a pack of smokes, so 3 quid , perfect :thumb:
I have revised my prices to reflect that you can get Jardine exhaust new for $350 or more ! Look at the first post for the new pricing..

Checked out your link and I can see it shows 2+ year old GS500 exhaust system that no doubt been well used over that time, but while mine is only been used for a few miles at the most ! The can add-on alone I see are more expensive than the factory fitted suzuki exhaust.
i understand man, trust me i do. and at this point there was not much on fleabay to show you. Hmmm ill check completed listings and see what comes up http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SUZUKI-GS-500-GS500-HEADERS-CAN-EXHAUST-SYSTEM_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ35596QQihZ023QQitemZ360041168237QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW not much on completed listings either, but hey. good luck with the sale m8 :thumb:
notice that one didnt even sell for 75??? and you want 250? Look dude we arent trying to be mean we are just trying to point out that no one is going to pay top dollar for a stock exhaust off of a GS500
seeing that I got my V&H for $70 why would anyone pay that much for a stocker? most people are removing them and adding an aftermarket. But like everyone said good luck with that.
got any fairings left on that bad boy hit me up
