Those are indian squirrels, not quite as hyper as the gerbils you got in US nut about the same size etc ... that the gorgeous 3 stripes on the back, where supposedly Lord Rama stroked them for bringing him water ... we see 1000's of these everyday, they are capable of amazing things. Including skinning a pumpkin seed and eating the insides. I swear ... if I could bring them in the US and train them ... they can get into a motor and fix the internals of it through the sparkplug hole.

Those squirrels are awesome. I have pics of them eating out of my hand, we would hold peanuts and they would come and take them back to their place where they lived...

I knew this kid in Missoula Montana when I was a kid. His dad let him have guns and knives... he would kill all the squirrels in a block radius and cut their tails off. Birds too. He took me around back where he kept animals he had caught in a bucket. There were none there that day... darn... but he did find a sealed film canister into which he had put a mouse two days before. It was still alive. He dumped the mouse into the bucket and shot it with his .22. Then he made me look at the mouse, which had a clean hole through it.
I think he joined the Marines later.
Buck shot is just as effective on humans as bucks, but I didn't say I was gonna prove my point.......................
