Title: Friend dropped bike on left side, gas leaked a little. HELP
Post by: ttryi on April 24, 2008, 05:21:42 PM
Hi all,

So I was teaching a friend how to ride the GS500E and they dropped it on its left side.  The clutch lever broke and when I went to pick up the bike, some gas leaked onto the engine from underneath where the petcock hoses are.  Only about 10 drops came out then it stopped.  I rode it home 2 miles away and its fine.  So is this anything to be worried about?

THanks

PS ne one selling a clutch lever?

If you just need the lever get the one from frankie, it'll be cheaper than buying the whole assembly from me.

Maybe if I didn't have so much money into it. But I have to agree, no one rides my bike except me. Especially knowing my friends...  :icon_rolleyes:

The Fuel leak sounds like you it jus hit the overflow from being on its side for a lil bit... no harm
