what kind of exhaust should i get for my gs500e to get that pure crotch rocket sound? does yoshimura make an exhaust that fits my bike.? ooo and will gs500f fairings fit on an e?

F body work on E ... not easy. But doable.

Well, if you are looking for a quick and easy bolt-on. Then V&H is your choice. Yosh no longer makes a system for the GS500. They are still around though if you get lucky.

Also you will never get the F1 style crotch rocket sound out of a gs....The gs is a twin....it is going to have a lower rumble ....just my thoughts

Yosh makes a trs slip on you can get it from ebay for like 300 but you have to cut you pipe. its not that hard they show pics of it. IMHO i think yosh sounds better. and I think the pipe looks better. Yosh is what Im going to get when I have the  $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

+1... it will never sound like a 4 cylinder  :thumb: IMO most after market exhausts make the GS sound silly, too loud and growly for such a little bike  :thumb:

Don't get Vance and Hines exhaust!You have to remove the header every time you change the oil.Exhaust bolts commonly break off in the head and add more cost and down time.
