Would anyone know the value of a complete collection of Playboy magazines, every issue from 1965 to the present in excellent conidition?
Thanks, and please refrain from juvinille comments.
Depends on How many Pages are stuck together.
(I know and I'm sorry) :flipoff: :icon_lol:
an items worth is in direct relationship to how bad the buyer wants it. :thumb:
well, try low tech medthod, add up the issue prices ( ALL OF THEM) and get a rough estimate

That's funny.
Just a guess face value is gonna be around 2000 to 2500.

Kinda a niche market, gotta find someone with the money and the want, but I would say several thousand. This guy has a COMPLETE set of issues ('53 on..) for sale for 35k

i do have the marylin monroe issue as well. ( placed in a safe deposit box)
Yeah, that's a little older than anything we're talking about here. The monroe issue alone is worth 6500.
Looks like all the 60's and 70's issues are worth about 25-30 a piece, the 80's and 90's 15-25 and anything past mid 90's is pretty much at face value.
and no, my monroe issue does NOT have the pages stuck together either :nono: ( almost mint)
prob be worth 20k after hef kicks the bucket

If you really want an estimate of value, you will probably only get it by offering them for sale. I would not bugger about with e-bay, go to one of the big auction houses, Christies, Southerbey's someone like that. They don't just do fine arts but all sorts of things like pop and movie memrobilia, who knows, possibly mag collections as well.
Mags and comics can make big money, about fifteen years ago a freind of that bloke who think's he's my son-in-law started full time comic trading, he started locally then going to fairs all over Europe and then the States. I remember him throwing a big party in a house he had just paid cash for to celebrate the first time he made fifty grand (GBP) in a weekend.
