well, shes done. all in all, i LOVE it. i spent a little under 200$ and about 4 or 5 hours total work time, i dont really know because it was down for almost a month waiting for parts. riding the naked bike is so much better. i reeeeaaaaally like the aggressiveness of the clubmans. and you cant deny, shes DEAD sexy. enjoy

any questions? better pics will be up soon
slide your controls and grips in and cut the extra bar off. it would look better i think.
So purdy!!! I really like the mirrors.
PS. about the 3rd... I'm not working that day, so I'm trying to make sure I've got nothing else going one. I'll let you know. :thumb:

Looks sooo much better nekid! Nice job. :thumb:
To me, the front wheel looks really big in this picture. Probably just the angle.
the only think i like nekkid is my wife. you did a nice job with the bike though. i just prefir sport bikes to be faired. but that's only one man's opinion. :icon_mrgreen:

I like fairings on a sportbike, just not the f fairings. I just don't think they flow well with the lines of the bike. They're too big and awkward looking. Just my opinion, take it for what it's worth.
oh, i agree. they do look akward. they stick out, alot. i was thinking the first time i sat on one.......an '05...."man, i could drill me a hole or two in here and have me a cup holder."

That would actually work, I think.

Might wanna take off the GS500F decals on the back then! As far as my taste I love my faired Flick! :)
Mary S.
IMO the faired bikes look alot better. I hate the new gsxr's and every other sports bike. theres next to no fairing on them. n fairing = no custom paint. My favorite bike is the first generation busa's so much fairing so big and bubbley looking. next would be the gsxr srad series
i like the way it looks both ways actually, later i might put the fairings back on if i get bored.
An, do you know anyone else around this area that rides? a guy from my dojo rides an older CB750, he might wanna come too.
and i forgot to add that my new headlight came with a plug that i didnt need. its the regular GS-F headlight plug, if anyone wants it you can have it just PM your address.

Looks great! I like them nekkid or faired just the same.

A friend I used to work with rides a CBR600rr.... he might be interested...
that should be cool. only problem is, i hear there have been ALOT of cops patrolling rt8 and rt20 so we might have to take it kinda easy.
do you have a side shot of the bike with the bars against the tank I wanna see how low they sit with the risers

LOL, I thought the same thing when I saw it. In fact, my wife hates the look of the bike for that very reason. Then again, she likes the Ninja 500r so what does she know?
For the OP, the bike looks really good. I was thinking to turn mine into a naked when I decide to move up. Maybe go the streetfighter route.
so what size risers are those?
1-1/8 inch. i had a hell of a time trying to find any untill another member on the site gave me this link
http://pitposse.stores.yahoo.net/noname88.html
i gave to that someone else here a few days ago too. he ordered them, i dont know how they worked for him but they are perfect for me. and they ship really fast too. :thumb:
a bit high for me but Im goin to mob another set of top clamps I have right now they will have a 7/8 rise but when I get my bars i will see the clearence. thanks look good
I REEEALLY like those bar end mirrors on the gs500. and the clubmans are nice too, though I prefer a easier high sitting position on my gs. Nice work on the nakeedness too. Looks really good.. :thumb:
I SO need to get some aftermarket mirrors! All I get now is a good view of my elbows!
