Kennedy did have a rather valid reason for his doings, I'd say a lot of blame lies with W as Castro came out of power during W's administration.

There is a certain amount of risk doing this.  Mail from Canaa to US addresses can be inspected and one of you would get busted.

The mailing risk would be MUCH less if Frankie carries them over the border and mails from within the US.  Hypothetically speaking, of course...

But then Frankie has to get across the border without the Gestapo finding his contraband.

Frankie, do you have dual citizenship?  Technically, it's illegal for a US citizen to deal in cuban goods even entirely outside of the US.  This includes recreational use of tobacco products.  According to the OFAC site fines as high as 250k or 10 years imprisonment can be imposed on any US citizen violating the embargo on cuban goods.

So, yeah, it's legal for an American citizen to go to Amsterdam and get high as hell, but not to go to Canada and enjoy a nice cigar :cookoo: :cookoo: :cookoo:

 That statement cracked me up!

I find that if you 'look' American and answer all the questions calmly you should be able to scoot through boarder patrol fairly easily. Just make up some secret hose that you can store stogies in and put it in your fuel tank. Like in Easy Rider.  O0

Always an option...  :cookoo:

However with a little planning and I do mean a LITTLE, you should be able to come up with a place a bit more comfortable.  :dunno_white:

OR, you could just not commit what essentially amounts to a federal offense over a f%$king cigar...........

The Treasury Dept. has in the past issued individual exemptions allowing 'businessmen' to import cuban goods while in cuba on business, but restricts the goods to personal use.  Sounds like a couple of head honchos in DC have a taste for cuban cigars. :icon_rolleyes:

he was good looking, rich and had a good family name. not bad things to have. lol btw it may not be legal to go to canada to have a cuban, but it is a law which is unenforceable tho

now thats funny...there are members of my family much worse than i.  this comes from growing up on the boarder and everyone knowing you and you knowing all the routes.  i have a cousin who could prolly get a bright yellow semi truck with COGAINE written in bit letters on board.  actually they just go over and buy gas and food which is much cheaper in calais

Prove I am bringing back cuban cigars in my travel humidor...

Laws may have changed but US customs laws were like this when a buddy was bringing Monte Cristo's back from mexico.

Any box of contraband cigars which had at least 2 cigars missing from the box was a conficatable offense with no charges. You could get popped with 10 boxes as long as each box was missing 2 cigars the took em and waved you through.

I carry an otterbox travel humidor when I travel, prove those cigars without bands on them are cuban :thumb: Of course I only tote about 20 cigars it's a small humidor.

Did you know that when Hugh Heffner dies he will be buried next to Marlyin Monroe. How in the hell did such a Male chauvanist pig get so rich and admired?!?!?!?!

I guess since she was his first Playgirl that he should be buried by her.

I'm just full of useless information.

pm sent, the guy at the smoke shop recommended a 35 dollar Cuban communist cigar.  if we are going through the trouble of doing this you might as well get one of the better ones.  check out my pm and see if my suggestion is OK with you.  if it is i can get one off to you tomorrow or the next day...OK :thumb:
