I live in Williamsburg, Va. I cannot find a GS500 around here for a decent price to save my life. I really like these bikes and I figured you guys could help me achieve one of my biggest goals this year to get a bike. I don't mind having minor things worked on as long as it's a sound bike for the most part. It doesnt have to look pretty, just safe. Please if you have one for sale or know anyone who does let me know. E-mail me at markeads718@hotmail.com or shoot me a PM here. Thanks a bunch in advance guys!
ill sell you mine for 900 has upgrated kat rear and k&n with a rejet done to...but im in iowa...lol
Please if you guys know of any GS500's and especially the GS500E for sale around VA/NC/DC let me know! Anyone?
Hey, I have a water cooled, 5 valve 700 maxim. Its a cruiser, but with a high revving sportbike I-4 motor. If interested PM me. I have some stuff on it that been ... buddha-ised ... but I'll sell it to you for $1000 and it does have some issues other than the buddha part ... VA may be better than NC ... no idea.
Its lower to the ground than a GS and handles a good bit more neutrally than a real cruiser ... but is heavier than a GS.
Cool.
Buddha.
Sorry, I'm not a fan of that style bike. Im really pretty set on a sportbike and a naked bike especially. Thanks though.

have you checked on craigslist.org ? check surrounding areas too, there are usually deals on stuff worth driving an hour or so to get.
good luck !
I check the ol' craigslist about 30 times a day and theres really not much at all to choose from. Cmon, anyone got a spare GS lying around?

I bought my GS off this board and my SV off the SV board, both for peanuts. Keep an eye out and be prepared, good deals have a habit of popping up when you least expect it!
