Title: Parting 2004 Motor
Post by: snozeuloze on April 29, 2008, 08:02:33 AM
I blew my engine in my 2004 gs500f. The cyclinder wall has a hole in it and I am not sure what else is wrong internally. What a do know is it has a good, transmission, clutch, driver side cover, starter, starter cover, oil pan (with mount for oil cooler), good oil cooler and lines. I am not sure what else you want or can salvage fro this motor. I did take right side cover for my new motor. Contact me if you are interested in any of these parts. NOt sure what anything is worth so please make a offer and not rob me. Also has some sensor sand what not on the motor itself that can go.

i may be interested in the 3 circuit carbs from that bike, if they're also for sale.

other little bits and pieces too, if it doesn't sell as a whole unit quickly. :)

The valve buckets look good. I was not the one riding the bike when the motor blew but all i know is in the front of the engine there is a large crack in the head. Almost like someone hit the curb or something.
