Title: Video GURU ? Anyone know qtvr (mov embedding) ? updated faster link
Post by: ohgood on April 30, 2008, 10:56:44 AM
I wanted to put a cool twist on a few panoramas. So i've made a smallish qtvr
http://media.putfile.com/north-run-pano-qtvr
and want to embed it in a website or forum, so folks can pan/zoom around.

Is it possible WITHIN a forum post, and if so, who's a good file host that won't re-compress and ruin the movie ?

Thanks !

(yes, i know putfile.com sucks, but i'm lazy) :)

That's cool, I'm assuming you are in the back left next to the katana?

yep. the front is always too crowded, the middle is like a death wish, the back is always a cool shot of other bikes leaning :)

Sorry folks, when I moved it to PutFile.com, they re-encoded it from a QTVR to a plain old flash. It completely kills the navigate abilities, and makes it into a crappy almost picture. Sorry, I'm going to try and find someone who will host files in their native format, for free. :) Here's an example of just how cool the tech is though (NOT MINE):
