go buy the jets individually for $2.50 apiece.  you need 2 sets of 2.   Ask srinath what sizes you should get.  OR check out pablo's website http://pantablo500.tripod.com and he should have a whole article on the sizes.

i am wanting to rejet this weekend, can i get the parts mains and pilots at my local motorcycle shop or are they special?  also, what about the ones on the gstwin mods page, are those wrong, is that why we are supposed to ask someone else?

Well pantablo.com site is pretty good...He said to ask me only cos people run into unique situations (like where to run the hoses to or my needle says this but has that, is it right) and I have seen that sometimes in the bikes I jetted. The GS mains are Mikuni large slotted round type and the pilots are mikuni non bleed pilots. Nothing they didn't put in millions of bikes...well atleast the 00 and earlier GS's. Washers are #4's available at Ace or radio shack. Its easy, and a kit wont help nothing but the dealers pocket...Well The factory kit is supposed to be better than DJ but I dont think its worth the big $$$ they want for it. Your entire jetting miscues included should cost under $15. Now check Pantablo's site and post back if you lose your way.
Cool.
Srinath.
