Title: Can guages be rebuilt?
Post by: mikesbike on May 03, 2008, 09:42:25 PM
Can gauges be rebuilt? The PO had dropped this bike and the speedo housing is all cracked up, and the face has a huge chunk broken off and sitting in there. IM not sure if it works yet either.

NO. on the parts catalog it shows it as an assembly, you are best off buying a new or aftermarket set

It would take some effort, but it could be done:

That depends on how rebuilt it needs to be.

Send us a picture of the damage and we will let you know if it is worth the time/effrort.

I just bought another tach off ebay a couple weeks ago and I have lots of gauge piece parts....just in case.
