Kat triple and GS triple will be needed from you. Turnaround times may be pretty quick ... I may send you ones I have in lieu of welding on to the one you send me.
Powdercoating not included, shipping not included, batteries not included. Dumb looks are available free though.
Thanks Diaz, I am too lazy to get pics and post them. And I like using pics and write up from people who use the stuff I make, cos as you know, it all works perfectly in my garage  :thumb: ...
Cool.

Mwaaaaa .... K the item is pretty small as you obviously know ... I'll guess it should be ~1-2 lb ... but can you imagine the kind of fits the "national security" clowns will have. I'll get on it in the next day or 2.

Cost $50. The katana stem is shortened entirely from the top by machining it and it is a straight bolt on the GS.
The bottom isn't even touched, not ground and welded, its just left alone as stock. The thing is entirely machined, with the only part welded being the top stem boss.
The original Katana bearings are useable after a bit of cleaning and re greasing. Like these, we didn't even get a spec of dirt on it, I wrapped it in cloth and ziptied it and my machinist never had to touch it he said.
Essentially buy good a stem off ebay and send to me, and I'll machine it and send it to you with it fitting a GS perfectly. It will need no spacers, washers, nothing, the steering stops, the ignition lock etc etc all work like stock. The only part you need to modify to get running with a katana FE.
I did this on a Katana 600, but a kat 750 is the same in the ones I have checked. Other stems like RF 600 or old school GSXR ... maybe doable ... need to check.

I am nearly sure I can get a Kat 750 triple to take the GS guage ears too, may not look as good as the kat 600 but the 750 can be made to work.

That link is for the top triple (which was used to weld ) and lower triple which was machined for fitting the kat FE. Those 2 are the only ones I need to modify. Other than the headlight carriers off the GS.
Cool.

I'll tell my machinist ... But it was my idea ... yea ... OK it was only partially my idea ... I was just insistent that he should not cut the thing out. So he made a holding jig so he can bolt it on the chuck and machine away.
This one, he said he finished the turning job for the bearing by hand, cos he was worried, so the top bearing is tighter than stock as it slides down.
Anyway, yea this one turned out great, next ones will be even better ... booya.
Cool.
