What do you all use.
Gonna be commuting, want to store some on the bike. Whats good, any recommendations.
I picked up a cheap rain poncho a couple sizes larger than what I'd normally wear, so it fits over gear. Only cost a few dollars.
It stores easily under my seat by the tool kit or in my tank bag.

Yea.. Other than those cheap plastic ponchos You arent going to be able to store much of anything on/in the bike w/o a tank bag or something :thumb:
I don't ride in the rain,but I use the yellow suits that home improvement stores carry.Lowes,Home De Pot,Ace.I buy 2 sizes larger and it only cost about $15.I carry it on my bike.I have been known to get caught in the mountains in the rain.Weather changes quickly up there.

I am fat and the bigger ones run more some times.I was just giving a round about price.
I have a pair of suzuki pants that are ok to wear for half of the year in Fl. other states maybe longer but they are water proof ,have hip and knee padding I just put them over my shorts. My Gxair from cortec has a rain insert which I throw in my saddle bag. I need to find a good alternative for summer though it rains for ten minutes hard enough to soak you then you suffocate in the plastic krap! gotta love Fl give it ten minutes and the weather will change drastically!

I ride in all weather and I have a dririder sport jacket (7 years old now) It leaks a little now in the shoulders from my backpack but it keeps me toasty in the cold. I got round the water by buying a cheap 20 dollar clear plastic liner to put on over my clothes first then the dririder. Am using dririder eagle pants though after about 2 years the cruth goes in them and ya get wet nuts (yellow rainpants better but you sweat in them). Boots I am using Oxfords. My first set went to shaZam! after about 6 months because I lived in them even when not raining but man did they keep your feet dry even when it was PISSing down. The other boots I love are Rossi boots. Rossi boots are great and the best boots I have ever owned, just need to be treated with dubbin to keep water out.
It was raining on my first day's commute while I was on the motorway. Was trundling along at 70mph when I realised I hadn't fastened my outer jacket (thick yellow luminous padded type) nor my armoured cordura jacket, (and it's not easy to zip either up with only one hand free). Got home and discovered that I was hardly wet at all. The fairing made a massive difference by absorbing most of the surface water thrown up on me.
However, I did get soaked the other day. It was absolutely chucking it down, and before long the rain got through the (not waterproof) trousers, then down the boots... uuugghh. The big yella jacket kept the top half dry though... more or less.
I usually check the forecast the day before, then decide whether to carry an extra layer, or risk getting a soaking.
my usual riding jacket is water RESISTANT, i have never had the pleasure of finding anything, anywhere, EVER that was water PROOF. :)
that being said, i use my riding jacket, which is a tourmaster something or other, and cheap rain pants from wal-mart.
whatever you get, get something with 3M stuff, and a bright color like yellow or hot lime green. i'd wear hot pink if they sold it. no really, i would.

Do you suffocate down here in the plastic rain pants? I just can't handle the plastic stuff. And what I have is kinda heavy for this heat. Sometimes I just say screw it and get wet. I do have goretex boots which is the part I can't stand getting wet.

Frog Togs. Similair to Tyvex, but water proof. Breathes well and crumples up very small to stuff under the seat, about 80 buck though. I hate the full PVC rainsuits, I'm getting wetter from sweat than I would be if I wasn't wearing raingear
