Title: Flickering headlight bulb?

I was looking over my gs 2nite , and when the powers on , buy the engines not , it sort of flickers , non like on or off , or not like flashes , its a small amount , but u notice it at night ,, any ideas?

the bulb isnt loose , i checked that , and it does the same with the engine on

clean your battery cables or change your spark plugs and if this doesnt work: Does it do it above 3500 rpm's?

Yep.Could be a bad ground.Also check your connections in behind the head light and the high/low switch.Knowing that you guys over there have an overly moist enviroment,I'd say corrosion is on a connection some where.

Ah thanks ., its 3.17 am , so i wont go outside and do it , but ill have a look in the morning ,   i no my plugs are a bit dodgy , coz they came with the bike ,

don't know if this got resolved, but it could be a loose filament inside the bulb.  if it's not touching both posts on the inside completely it would have this type of affect.  Maybe pick up a new bulb for a few bucks and check to see if it's just a bad bulb before tearing into everything else that may or may not be bad.
