Title: any tech class ham radio operators out there?

as teh title says, anyhoo, im wanting to study  for my license, but me reading books, although it helps, doesnt help enough for my liking, SO if weve got any hams with that license, or higher, to either post, or pm me a question, to which ill answer, or a series of questins. ive got until june 14th to do this, well june 13th, teh test is teh 14th. many thanks ahead of time

go to qrz.com and take the practice test. keep taking it until you get a consistant passing score.

you cant take them as many times as you want - after a day of that, i was more then ready to ace my test

any idea as to what the passing ratio/precentage is?

In 1979 when I acquired my FCC 2nd Class RadioTelephone (later changed by the Gov. to General Class) the required minimum was 75%.

I had a HAM license from India way back in the day, got it in HS, never used it ever!

Its expired.

they are helpful in case of say an attack on this country where comms are knocked out, tornados etc, again where comms are out, and also to help with storm spotting, and accidents
