i just bought new full fairing - black colored, and i want to change the grips too.
will they fit?
sure. if they're a little lose, spray em with AquaNet (hairspray) and they'll stick pretty good.
if they're a little tight, use a hair dryer inside, spray with Aquanet again, and they'll slide on easy cheese.
if you're worried about vibrations, just get some cheap $9 foam grips, and pour lead shot into your bars. zero vibrations afterwards :) http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=41264.0
Get some Spider Grips. Same price as those on ebay but much better.

seince i didn't make it to my pc at time to buy the bars, the bid is over.
and i didn't found those grips in ebay.
but i found them here: http://www.bikesax.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=GRPH-CARB&Category_Code=GRP-UNI (http://www.bikesax.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=GRPH-CARB&Category_Code=GRP-UNI)
but i need to choose size and close\open.
can u tell me what will fit my 97' gs ?
Grips are made in three sizes 7/8 which is what the gs takes and most other bikes. 1 inch which is what bigger cruisers and harley's have and 1 1/8 which is on some of you bigger dirt bikes. so basically anything that is 7/8 will fit. I bought atv grips for mine the only thing was they werent open for bar ends so I have to cut them but they look great and feel nice too.
