Last Wednesday I went to FAST School (local racing school) and had an incredibly awesome day!!! I took out the R6 which was my first time RIDING (not demoing) any other bike other than my GS. Sure, in the beginning I was nervous but I got used to the bike quickly. After a near highside and lowside in my first two laps, I quickly got a hang of the bike and had a blast. I finally... FINALLY got my knee down! I tried it on the way home on my GS but it's pointless and very difficult/dangerous I find. I did pretty damn well on the track considering it was my first time not only on the track, but on a completely different bike as well. I got awarded the "Top Rider" trophy at the end of the day for improving my skills the most and having the fastest lap times. I was the only non-sportbike rider in my class so I wasn't exactly expecting this as the other riders weren't bad either. I can't wait until next year to take the next class.... the track is awesome!

WOW looks like fun! I imagine the "first" time would be the scariest!
Congrats on "top rider" very cool.
Excellent! Nice pics too! :thumb:
 Congrats!
Where did you take it at? I am looking around here (MI area) and cant decide where I want to go, might wait till next year with more miles under my belt.
Well I'm in Toronto so I can't suggest anything in MI. Do a little research to find which is generally thought of as the better place to go and do it locally. You'll have fun regardless of what level your skills are at. I was one of the last to book for this season back in January so here anyway, you have to book at least 6 months ahead.

What was the place called you took it?
I'm near Toronto, and looking to take the 'Fast' course next year.
Looks like Mosport Park to me...Or as I like to call it...Gosford park...
Cool.
Srinath.
It was at Shannonville and the name of the school is "FAST Riding School" It's not cheap, but worth every penny!
