so, the transfer i applied for is going to go through. i don't have an exact date yet because they still don't have a replacement for my job at the plant i'm currently at. but i'll get to move soon. i'm pretty much just changing plants and shifts. i'll go to standard day shift, (7am-3pm) for 6wks to train. then i'll move to my new home on the weekend shift. (5am-3pm.....thurs, fri, sat, sun). when i move to go train i'll lose .40cents an hour. (my night bonus) but after my training i'll get an .80cent an hour bonus for working weekend shift. and it gets better. for the first year i'll get a .35cent raise every 2 months. and for the 2nd year i'll get a .50cent raise every 3 months. and also in there will be the yearly raises we normally get. those are usually at least .50cents. i'm stoked about it. i'll have to give up my daytime on the weekends but i'll get my nights back. and i'll have mon, tues, weds off during the week. i'm liking the idea. i can't wait! :thumb:
