Title: Random Stalling
Post by: Jlittle on May 15, 2008, 10:24:35 AM
Today my GS has been stalling randomly while riding or getting read to take off in first gear.  I happens when im either not in gear or in first i havnt experianced it at any other time.  I have plenty of gas so its not that sloshing around.

Might be dirty carbs, has the bike been sitting?

no i ride it about 5 days out of the week. Before today its happend once while going around a turn it just shuts off.  Its almost like i hit the kill switch but didnt.  Since ive got the bike i havnt replaced, Air Filter, or spark plugs.  Could either be the culprit?

check your side-stand switch that it is not malfunctioning and that the stand is touching it
