Title: 2007 Hand Controls on a 1995?
Post by: cosmiccharlie on May 16, 2008, 05:44:52 PM
I need to replace the hand controls on my 1995.  I found a good deal on a set of 2007 controls with no grips.  Will they work?  Are the plugs the same?  Are the grips the same or will I have to buy grips for a 2007?

I have been working hard to get my project bike on the road within the next couple of weeks.

The 1995 has a single throttle cable , 2007 has a dual cable ,  but i think it can be rigged for just the one

and i was trying to swop over my 2001 controls with a 1996 on the clutch side , and the 2001 throttle cable is shorter than the 1996

looks like i can swop the cables over tho , but it will just plug all in and stuff

guess you could just use the throttle barrel from the 95's controls. :)

do the 07's have 'flash to pass' now ?

So the 2001's are the same as the 2007's?
