Title: electrical issue...
Post by: makenzie71 on May 19, 2008, 05:15:50 PM
No it's not a GS but the CX people are all boobs...

Alrighty then...battery is not charging.  Stator checks out.  Regulator checks out.  I get 13.9vdc coming out of the regulator.  That voltage is NOT making it to the battery.  Is it possible to just run jumpers off the regulator to the battery and just say to hell with the rest of the wiring harness?

OK Its not a GS I know, but I'll give you the answer for a GS.
There is a wire that goes to the starter relay. Now starter relay has 3 prongs used in a 4 prong terminal but 4 wires go to it. 2 go to 1 prong. If there is trouble with 1 of those 2, I wanna say its red with yellow tracer) ... that = no charge.
Yea ... there, I think its poetic justice.
Cool.
