Title: Forks are shorter than mine

So I purchased a used for of a member but not shure the year but when I hold the fork up to mine the used one is shorter did they change the size of the forks from the early years to the newer ones

Kind of a stupid question, but, is the fork extended all the way?

yeah. but the lower tube is shorter also

Both forks shorter or just one? The left has the pinch bolt and is longer overall.

I got it the guy who works at the shop which told they are rifferent was smokin some good stuff I had to force him to swap the inners so I can have straight forks

afaik, theyve all been teh same length. unless you bought forks from another bike
