They'd have a hard time finding mine. Inside the helmet, down the jacket, into the tank bag where the MP3 player is. I'd have to be stopped for some other reason and they'd see me taking them out before I'd get busted there (not like there's a lot of interesting riding there anyway).
I see riders here in iowa with only a t-shirt shorts and flip flops on :cookoo: 95% ride without gear of anykind
In some states they only require brakes on one wheel. I hope it's the front.
leave it to governments to make something so completely different and confusing
In Florida we apparently don't need turn signals! And all that hardwork on the LEDs! I guess since the tourist don't know how to use them we don't need them! But I can listen to my music as long as the helmet has the speakers installed. So, I wonder if my Nike earphones glued inside my shoei count?

Over here in Western Australia (unless rules have changed since 1990) You have to wear a helmet by Law only.
It is HIGHLY recommended that the following be worn (though not law)
* Sturdy Riding boots be worn.
* Long pants.
* Leather riding Gloves
* Durable Jacket
Same , here , u only have to wear a Motorbike helmet , however , it must have a vaild mot and be kept roadworthy, police have the power to take a bike off the road if its not deemed roadlegal , Must have At least one Mirror as far as i found out , altho i didnt think u had to have any
Must have Insurance 3rd party at minimum , and road tax , The police are cracking down very hard on uninsured drivers , they use a camara system that reads the plate and runs it automaticly thro a computer and beeps when there isnt insurance present , *they used to use a system called a 7 day wonder , they would ask you to present your documents at your local police station , * now they take the bike or car or anything off u , tow it away , and u have to pay to get it back , including a 12 pound a day fee.. cheeky really , but they recon 1/10 people in this country drive uninsured , something i wouldnt ever do , because if i get wiped out , u basicly get nothing, and well its a comfort
