Hey, Just in case anyone around here is from NE ohio (Akron Canton area) I want to do some shameless plugging for a friend of mine.
If you get a chance stop by Chapel Hill Mall or the new store at Belden Village (Now a Westfield) Mall and check out Adrenaline. They carry all kinds of motor sports clothing - A*, Fox, etc etc etc. One of the owners is a buddy of mine and decided to open this store after he realized that riders (dirt and street) don't have many clothing stores catering to them the way that pac sun and others cater to the cali surfer crowd (and sometimes carry one or two things from Alpinestar).
The store is cool, always good music and stunt videos playing. They're also talking about organizing events and stunt days with some of the local clubs. The guy I know lives and breathes riding and he's really trying to bring that to others with this store.
Check it out and support someone who supports the sport.
If I'm up there anytime I'll try to stop in...is he gonna carry any gear or just the casual stuff? :dunno_white:
Just casual stuff. Afaik there aren't any plans for expanding to carry gear.
His reasoning was that its easy to get gear and stuff at the dealerships but most dealerships only have a couple tshirts usually and in a couple sizes so the only other option is to pick through skater stuff at pac sun.
I'm going to be in Warren this weekend. How far is the shop from there?
Eh, warrens all the way over there by sharon pa. I'd say at least an hour, if not more.
