Title: LED lights and Neon kits - The Good, The Bad & The U
Post by: fuzzymemory on August 27, 2003, 09:18:18 AM
What do you folks think?  I'm of the mindset that a small amount can highlight the lines of the bike and make it more visible on the road.  Too much of it will look annoying.  Has anyone added LED lights or neon kits to thier bikes?  I was thinking that 3 led lights between the tank and the frame and/or near the rear shock would look good.

Please post pics/wiring instruction if you have any.

Bling bling.

But whatever floats your boat.

And no, bling bling is not a "good" thing in my book.

I have two blue LED bolts on my targa fairing in place of 2 of the windscreen bolts.  I also have a strobe in my rear tail (which is clear with a clear tail) but it currently isn't working  :x

See my webpage, I have a little info on the setup there.

I have two mini leds on my nose fairing that are wired to the turn signals, just to give a little more for nite time visibility...
I was (and still am) really tempted by the led frame sliders that are available, but I went for case guards instead for practicality.
