Title: GS 500 E M bearings

i have a gs500 e and i need the sizes of the bearings in the suspension linkage arm

can you tell me the sizes of the 4 needle roller bearing ( mine were totally destroyed by corrosion  UK rain and salt on the roads )

i hope you can help me  as suzuki want  120 GBP for the parts and a bearing factory has quoted me 4 GBP for each bearing if i can get a sizes

:? you mentioned that yours were trashed. ive used bearing supply houses in the past, if you can bring them the bad ones, they usually can match them up :cheers:

Try measuring the inside diameter of the bushing, the width of the housing, and the outside diameter of the retaining bolt/shaft (in mm).  Quote these to a bearings supplier and see what he's got in stock.  

Or take the whole assembly to an auto specialists or machine shop and ask if they can replace the bearings as a small job.  Even with labour, might be cheaper than Suzuki parts.

take the linkage out and hand it to them, bolts and all

check bike bandit? they are only like 18$ each from the shop i goto

that is every bearing used on swing arm, main pivot and linkage mount but dont see linkage pivot
