Can anyone recommend some good rear brake pads for my 07 GS? I'm only finding pads that go up to the 06 model. And even if those will work for my 07, I don't know where the line is between a good deal and pads that are just plain crap. If you know of a site where I can get them, that would be really helpful too. Thanks!
All years are the same... as well as Katana, TLR/S, SV, and most GSXR's (up until 03 or so).
get the cheapest rear brake pads you can find and use some kinda anti-squeal stuff on the back of them.
then get the best pads possible for the front.
Remember that only (i think) 30% of the braking comes from the rear, and that too good of brake pads are just gunna make it lock up.
best of luck.

That doesn't sound right... maybe you need to adjust the rear brake pedal height?
I use ebc hh.They grab quick and hard. The GS already has rear brake lock up problems.ebc hh pads are to much ,in my opinion, for the rear.
this is perfect, thank you all!
I've heard it here recently that the aftermarket pads are too grippy and may cause lockup. Maybe better to go with OEM for the rears.
Just my .02
use the organic ones i think they are GG instead of HH's

Will that solve the problem of being suceptible to lockup?
I
never use my rear brake, I'm really only replacing them to make sure that I don't mess up my rotors on the chance that I do need to use them one day. I really should get into that habit though....
