The tank petcock is held on by two screws (Phillips head, if I recall correctly). Should be a simple matter of unscrewing the petcock and moving it over. If the gasket is damaged, you may need a new one.
I have found it cheaper to make one out of gasket material. It may be different over there.I can get an 8 inch square sheet of gasket grade viton(I think that's what it is) for $2 and I have enough left over to make other small gaskets also.
I have some instant gasket , and its like a paste and sets like a seal , we used it on the head of my Brothers Mz 150 , as the gasket was completly gone , and there wasnt anymore problems
I have no idea why i thought it was going to be hard , it was that easy!, and the gasket was like new , so i put it on , and it held the petrol , ahh looks soo much better , i think im going to keep a eye out for some K3 tail plastics :thumb:
