Wish I had found that site before I bought mine. Could've saved me some $$$$$!
That place is 45 minutes from me. I should take a ride out there.
Yeah, wish I heard about that place too. I just got a Shoei RF-1000 for $300 (after 20% disc.) at CycleGear near me. Really wanted the EXO-1000 though.
EXO 1000 looks sick makes me want one but their super expensive for my wallet :-(
i'm a poor man haha
Alms for the poor anyone?
anyways good find i guess i'll have to save money for the EXO1000 after i buy my yoshimura exhust
good find man thanks :thumb:
I would've liked to have had that one also... but alas, I had to settle on the EXO 700!

The EXO700 is a good helmet IMHO very versatile and they offer all kinds of accessories for them I especially like the way their shields change out. They did manufacture a shield that was light sensitive but apparently had some issues with the clarity. According to one of the salesmen at MotoLiberty they are suppose to be introducing another one shortly it's in R&D now. That will be the shield I will want.
I had the light sensitive shield it was huge bucket of suck! It took forever to change to a dark tint, and even then it wasnt that dark, in Florida the sun is sointense it really needs to be dark. And yes the clarity was bad, it had areas where the sight was distorted. I just opt to switch sheilds now.
I also have a Vega Altura helmet that I bought off of ebay for 80 bucks, that thing fits about 98% as well as my EXO700 and I really feel the venting is better. It is DOT approved and the Surikan graphics is pretty cool too. I have my eye on a Icon Mainframe helmet though, now that helmet looks way cool.
I'm looking for a good helmet in the 220-320$ region. And really like the scorpion, any others you'd recommend I look at before pulling the trigger.
You might want to check out the Icon line, and also the new Bell line, I beleive they both have some in that range. But getting back to the thread, for these prices and on Scorpions, you just cant pass it up.
I love my shoei Rf-1000. I am a female with a size 6 3/8 head size! I gotta get youth bike helmets when I ride my bicyle but the Shoei is a small and is a pleasure to wear! I can also get my camel back valve into the top and drink so that is a perk for me. I have another open face helmet GPX I think it is and at an Extra Small I still felt like a bobble head!
I did try an Icon on the other day it looked nice but they didn't have my small size. Does anyone know if they make helmets esp for females? My best friend tells me I've got a pea brain so don't worry about it! My reply is that I just have more surface to volume ratio so I don't have to have an extra large hollow head ;)
