So far i absolutely love the thing. I've got almost 500 miles on it in 3 weeks (one lake run). Anyways, hella fun, great torque, GREAT tone!! Very very very very easy  bike to ride, its a bit heavier than anything ive ridden but its easily manageable with a little time. I'm lookin forward to gettin some track time in once I get used to bein on 2 again. Good times ahead indeed. Unfortunately there seems to be a local rash of riders loosing their lives lately, it really is a shame. One of them didnt even have the bike 24 hours, another was taken out by a new kid on an ex250 in a head on accident. Just ride safe, I know I will do all I can to keep shiny on top.

Yea the TL1000 engine is used on the drag strip as the engines are almost bullet proof.

The TL1000 motor is also used in the V-Strom 1000 with a couple slight mods.  Proven strong powerplant and sounds GREAT

Nice bike, I am green with envy you lucky bugger
