Went to bald eagle state park near Howard PA. Rode up to Tewanda, back to Howard. Then from Howard to Renovo and up to Bradford.
We had a great weekend. We got in a little later than we would have liked(03:00) but a good time was had by all. we spent the whole day SAt riding through some absolutely AMAZING roads. 20-30 miles of non stop twists and turns.
We woke up on SAt at about 10:30 and cooked a feast of eggs, bacon, beans, bagels and fruit. Then we went riding up to until 16:30 and ended up in Tewanda. They were having lobster-fest there. So we had a whole lobster, corn, salads, beans potatos etc... for $20 each.
then we rode back to the campsite and cooked tenderloins, mushrooms and beans. The fire was fun, as we had nothing between twigs and logs, and the logs were wet.
Woke up at 10:30 again, cooked feast and started ridin for home. We rode until about 16:00 just out side of bradford, where we stopped on the side of the road and cooked hot dogs and leftover steaks. We got home at aobut 22:00 on sunday night.
My back was so sore, I couldn't even stand, i went right to bed and played log.
Other than a few hiccups: my buddy left his keys in the side of his bike for about 400KMs (amazing they didn't fall off) and I woke up on Sat and couldn't find my bike key (he found it in the grass!!!) eveything went well.
Oh yeah, it went down in the low 40's on Sat night DAMN that was cold on the ears!

That's the area where I grew up. Nothing like walking out of your back door onto 250,000 acres of game land.
Another thing I miss being in the city.
Can't pee in your back yard.
well you can, but you get weird looks from the neighbours :)
That sounds like a great ride!! Center county is a beautiful place. There are some awesome roads winding through the appalachians.
If you're in the mood for another midatlantic road trip, may I suggest skyline drive in VA in about 2 months? gorgeous. :thumb:
