Title: Another Fenderectomy post
Post by: aaronjosephward on June 01, 2008, 10:21:42 AM
well i did it yesterday, i removed the fender. i used a hacksaw, and i'm decently impressed with out it turned out. also used sandpaper and razorblades to clean it up a little bit. i will have to buy a rattle can and clean up the plastic. All in all i'd say it took me an hour or less.

Yeah, looks good. And since we're on the topic, I did a fenderectomy a couple weeks ago ala Pantablo's method, the "Uber-fenderectomy".  Some pics:

While I was at it I did the 'reflectorectomy' http://gstwin.com/reflectors.htm (http://gstwin.com/reflectors.htm). Also modified some CBR900rr passenger pegs to put up front and slapped on some case guards.
