After the last carb sync that pkasso (paul) did the bike seemed to be running great, however when i went to drop pablo off (ortega ride) we found the bike to be really vibrating.
Tonite paul used chimvee (james's) yard stick carb sync tool. With that I think we hit the jackpot.
60 miles later and I actually got off the bike and said "wow that was a smooth ride". Yes there are still vibrations but its a far cry from what i expereinced on the way to paul's place. I got off and basically could feel my fingers and toes.
Between 70-80 mph (sweet spot of 75) the bike vibrations are present but drastically reduced, I actually forgot about them after a while, it felt smooth (though not as much as it did at one time but close to it). The bike intially was running rough around 75 mph but after a few minuts on teh freeway it smoothened out. Around 85 the vibrations are back but its not had, at 90 its definately there, but bareable. I am sure on a longer ride thsoe areas will break in a bit too. But 75 is really really smooth.. like i should be able to go farther at that speed in comfort (as long as I dont grip the throttle too tight or put my weight on my palms)..
I am going to ride her tommorow and see what it does in the day time when the heat is on.
Once again thanks to paul and james for helping me out..
We also aligned the rear wheel (the alighing things were a bit off).. now after that was done the bike neatly drops into teh corner. I took the connector from 2N to 134W at 60+, its a 25 mph posted (yellow) sign. Previously i could only take it at 40-45 before the rear would feel funny.

That's great Good-Guy! I hope it sticks this time. I worry that maybe the sync adjust screw may be loose and changes with time. As the vibrations increase, the screw begins to turn more. Maybe the lock tite next time around will be the secret.
As always Manjul, your company is enjoyable and working on the bike is just a + for me.
