Title: Where can I get the material for fork spacers?
Post by: South East Rocket on August 28, 2003, 01:29:40 PM
I busted a fork seal popping a wheelie the other night.  I already got the GIX750 rear and wanna go stiffer with the front too.

I checked with Ace Hardware and couldn't find the PVC tube.  I'm gonna put the spacers + prog spring while replacing the seal.

Hey can I still ride with a busted seal? (temporally)

Well try home depot ot Lowes...White schedule 40 will work fine, grey schedule 80 is even better...that other black stuff I believe is also 80 but has some nasty gunk that may be hard to clean off...
Cool.
Srinath.
