There are flowers and memorials all along one of my favorite rides.
Something kept telling me to stop and relax a while. So I did. Sometimes I think you can almost hear those folks we miss cruise by...

me too, i went to the dragon. will post pics soon enough . i believe someone died there today tho :icon_confused: on my way back into tn, 4 THP cruisers and about 14 bikes of all makes were pulled over. ambulance arrives shortly thereafter. later on at the overlook, same ambulance leaves without siren stuff happening. then again i could be mistaken. but signs point elsewhere tho. OH YEAH BTW i GOT KILLBOYED today lol ( twice) ill have to look and see if it makes the site lol

That's beautiful man. Nice pictures. I've never gotten to know Florida except for the coastal areas and Disney. I HAVE noticed THIS.
It is a CLEAN state (at least in the areas that I've frequented), much unlike Louisiana.
nice pics but that road is waaay to straight for my liking. what kind of camera are you using to take these great shots?

The only thing I hate about riding is seeing memorials. :(

I know what you mean frankie. Finding curves in Florida is harder than a virgin @ spring break. That particular road is actually a blast once you get through the start (where I stopped to photo the pano). It has elevation changes, off-camber turns, 3-4 sweepers, dips down into SPanish Moss covered trees (very cool) and has little to no traffic, ever. The route that road happens to be on is about 65 miles of curves, trees, elevation, fun dips, and a couple of sand strewn corners just for fun. Definitely one of my favorites. :)
It's just a crappy Nikon CoolPix L1, but the software ( PTGui PRO ) does a nice job of 'stitching' the photos together. I think this is the only piece of software I liked enough to purchase in the last 5 years ;)

Ill make you a promise...if anyone comes out to daytona for biketoberfest or bike week ill so you some wicked curves in florida even a few hills that will make your stomach jump up into your throat.
they should be up monday, im looking at prices, somewhat high, BUT i can get a high res print damn near 3ft across and a cd for less than 40 , ill preview both of them, i want teh shot of me going twd NC, cause it shows the gixxer wedge can mounted O0

dude ! that's what databases are for !!!
(i only have 15,000 pictures/videos in my iphoto library, mirrored to 3 different laptops, offline server, and two external usb hdd's) they're safe !

That road is so straight it looks like you stiched a field pic on the right. Cool shot though. I wish there was a way to get ride of the bow on the others, I use Autostitch and so far have not had any luck - probably a pipe dream.
