I am selling my 1996 Mustang Cobra that has 87,000 miles. The car is Crystal White with black leather interior. The paint is original and in excellent shape and the interior looks fantastic. The last 3 owners (including myself) have been anal retentive engineers who are obsessed with maintenance and care.
The car has been very tastefully modified and all mods were well thought out. The main modifications are as follows;
Engine
• Comp XTreme Energy Cams
• Accufab single blade throttle body
• Pro-M mass air meter
• Cold air inlet elbow and conical filter
• JBA shorty headers
• Dr. Gas off-road x-pipe
• Bassani cat-back
• Taylor 10.3 mm spark plug wires
• SCT Xcallibrator 2 tuner and software
Drivetrain
• Ford 3.73:1 ring and pinion set
• Denny's Driveshafts "Nitrous Ready" driveshaft
• Tremec TKO (old model based on 3550)
• Spec Stage 3 plus? ceramic clutch and pressure plate
• Aluminum flywheel
• Steeda adjustable clutch cable
• Steeda clutch cable firewall adjuster
• Power Slot brake rotors (less than 1,000 miles)
• Hawk brake pads (less than 1,000 miles)
• BFGoodrich G-Force Sport tires (less than 1,000 miles)
Suspension
• Eibach Sportline springs
• Tokico Blue shocks and struts (less than 1,000 miles)
• KYB quad shocks (not currently installed)
• Adjustable camber/caster plates
• Kenny Brown rear lower control arms
• Adjustable upper control arms
None of the above modifications have negatively affected the drivability of the car, and it would certainly serve well as a daily driver. It has never been daily driven, only stored inside and driven on nice weekends. I drove it on a 300 mile round trip a year ago and the car netted 25.4 mpg (with all mods listed above).
The only flaws the car has are scuffs on the front bumper (two rock chips and damage to the paint from the license plate frame), a chip on the spoiler, and a slightly leaky pinion seal.
The car is located in Tulsa, OK. I have the clean title in hand, along with a folder full of documentation and many stock parts (including the stock T-45, etc). The asking price is now $8,500 OBO and the car is ready to drive. No trades please.

Thanks,

dude, ebay that thing. you can get more than $8500 for it. it's cherry.
before you sell it, borrow the best video camera your neighbor has, and do a walk around with it purrring.
;)
also youtube a vid of it on a spirited ride O0
Dude, I didn't realize you lived in Tulsa. We could have just met half-way for me to pick up my springs!
Sweet car!
Turd! How's the (used to be) new house treating you? I don't see any bikes in there...
There is a little baby GS hiding in that garage! The house is great, it has about 400 sq ft that is unfinished on the second floor. I'm selling the Cobra to buy a truck and start hauling junk to finish it off. Owning a home is pretty fun. How are you, Sanjay?
You should hear this car, at idle it sounds ridiculous, but at 7,000 it sounds like the world is coming to an end. I've been around my fair share of 4-valve Mustangs but the exhaust combination on this car makes it the best sounding one I've ever heard.
I put the car up on AutoTrader and my phone has been ringing off of the hook. It should be gone fairly soon, which is great...but really sad, too.
-Turd.
Bump for a gorgeous car!
So you decided to keep the bike, huh? Still riding? Glad to hear the house is coming along. Too bad you're selling the Cobra - that's a sweet machine. I'm debugging my carbs right now, so the bike is in pieces. I've been autocrossing the 328, which is fun, and I'm signed up for a trackday this summer :-)
btw turn ive never met an engineer who WASNT anally retentive. . ray bartnikas was the worst. but an alright character in my book :thumb:
