It's a nice bike, looks good. Your belly pan is a cut up stock fairing I'm assuming?

i think I paid 40 bucks on ebay for it.  Im not to fond of it after putting it on.  its not dot and its really dim at night.  I think you can buy the same on brand new for like 99 but you'll want to use some other brackets because the ones they send you are rubber pieces of crap

Looks great, I am just east of you near Wilson.   I sort of like the whole package w/ the light.   I am thinking of doing mine in silver bedliner if they even make that color.

i actually work in wilson right now but not for long.  I got a friend there who took his fairings to the line x dealership on forest hills rd and had them do it.  Its tough stuff so you wont have to worry about anything scratching it, besides of course if you lay it down...

Do you have a link to where you got your chain and how much it was?  Im not sure which one I need to get for my GS.

Also - whoever said clean out around your front sprocket (not sure if it was in this thread) DO IT!  I pulled my front cover off and it took 5 cans of brakleen to get all the crap out of there!  What a mess!!!!

The stock chain for the GS is a 520V o-ring with 110 links.

Here are some threads from gsJack with chain recommendations for the GS:

what is top speed like with that sprocket...for instance at about 80mph im at 7000k or alittle higher with me 15t front.. im guessing that with that big of sprocket your top speed is gone
