Title: SV650 tail light on my gs

some people wanted to see the sv tail light on my gs...here it is. 
oh and i think this is the first pic ive put up with frame painted and
the bike back together.  i still need to hide all that wiring, touch up
the paint on the frame (a lot, fell over in the trailer haha).  what do ya
think?

Very nice! May I ask how you held the sv650 tails on there? Zip ties?

haha actually no, i welded the mounting brackets on and bolted it to the mounts.

Sorry didnt mean to offend. Thats cool, I wouldnt mind a SV tail light either!

definately not offended, i do have lots of zip ties, tape and about half the bolts are "aftermarket" as i like to call em  :laugh:

if zip ties weren't invented, it would be bailing wire :)


dude, that tar is gonnnnnne !

the sv light looks great. those are some of the brightest i've ever seen on a motorbike.

i took the easy route and got a clear alternatives integrated led signal and tail light.  i love it.

Did you say you bought those headlights then broke your bike? Are those headlights for sale?

it's the acerbis piece.  Not exactly known for great light output.  :nono: I would stay away from it unless your in a well lit area.

nah not for sale sorry.  ya i had a headlight just like that and it was pretty much usless haha

Yep. Albuquerque. I would also love to check out the SV650 lights on the bike if you dont mind.. I am about to do a led retrofit in another GS tail light and would also like to compare brightness levels after if you dont mind.. well thats if your in albuquerque! ;)
