Title: Handlebars
Post by: Fry on June 10, 2008, 04:58:49 PM
Are Renthal Fat Bars compatible with GS Clamps?

Are stock bars 7/8th's?

What Are Renthals?

Anyone have any feedback with the SW 1"Up and !" Back risers? Will these risers work with fat Bars?

I want Gold Anodizied Dirtbike style bars in a low bend, and need some feedback on Risers.

I'm short, about 5'5" and have back problems, so though I want a Cool factor I want to be almost up right in seating position, not clocked forward, or back for that matter...

Feedback appreciated.

Renthal Fatbars are 1" 1/8 in diameter in the center section and should only be used with 1" 1/8 clamps. GS clamps are 7/8"

I assumed he was asking what the diameter of Renthal bars were. All though the fatbars are 1 1/8, they do make bars that are 7/8.

Im going with the 1 1/8th Renthal Fat Bars (Pastrana Low Bend in Graphite to match rims color) using a universal set of 7/8th's to 1 1/8th bar mount adapters.

Thanks for the info, just wanted to make sure the GS was 7/8th's and not something whacky.
