Having not ridden mine yet (even once), I say CLUTCH IT!

Get the bike up in the powerband >5K and lean way forward.

Again,  I have not yet ridden my GS.

Maybe this week!  :o

I have done this from a redlight dragging a car and worked fine for me (SQUID) reved to abouve 5 or 6k let the clutch out smoothly dont drop it then from thererun it to 10.5 k or 11k and clutchless shift. you dont get more power or pull but its faster

Clutchless also works very sweet around 4.5 / 5k rpm on my commuting (but I guess that's not at racing revs).

whatever you do, race the CLOCK, not another rider/car at the track !

why ?

you can hear your engine (and hopefully won't blow it !)
no one will run into you
you won't run into anyone
you'll be alive monday to post time slips to us ;)
