Just like the title says. I have recently purchased a 1990 GS500 and unfortunately what I was told was a stuck starter motor ended with a seized engine. So I am currently looking for a DECENT engine, MUST run, with smothly shifting gears. I am looking for something that I can drop the old motor out, and swap the new motor in with no rebuild! I just received my economic stimulus check so I have money available and ready to buy!
As to my last purchase/scam on craigslist I am a little hesitant on purchasing anything online, so if you can provide some vouchers from fellow members here I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you,
Nick
Post your location in case someone close has one or knows about 1.Also are you willing to drive to pick it up?How far?
Yea Bush Bucks
Be sure to include another complete bike in your search as well... Sometimes you can find a whole bike thats a bit beat and it runs :thumb: swap motors and sell parts $$$ :icon_mrgreen: Money and a new motor :thumb:
just a thought
Gotta love the "Bush Bucks" being spent in the right place!
I'm in Phoenix Arizona and I am willing to drive but probably not outside of Arizona. I've found a couple possibilities online but nothing I want to jump on yet. Anyone?

I would appreciate that very much! I'm open to anything right now!
Thanks!

dude already sold the stuff. but ill keep my eyes peeled, and ill let you know what the dude im talking to on here about his bike says, the 05
Cool, I got my motor torn mostly down and it looks like I had a rusted piston seized against the cylinder wall. I MIGHT not be in need of a complete engine. We shall see what the rest of the tear down shows, but do keep looking just in case! I appreciate all your help!
