I don't know the bike or the person, but figured someone might be interested in investigating!

Up for sale is my '05 GS500F. I'm asking $2600, but I'm willing to entertain just about any offer since I need to sell fast! It's a great starter bike - the seat is low and it's really easy to steer.
The bike has 12,3xx miles on it right now. It's mostly stock, with the exception of Vortex clip-on handlebars on the front, and a gold DID VM chain. I still have the stock one-piece handlebars, and I'll gladly replace them if you want.
Here's a rundown of the various things about this bike:
The good:
- Previous owner has done the 600 mile break-in service
- Regular oil changes every 2-3k miles or so
- Valve checks were performed every 4k miles, once by Suzuki of Oakland, once by me, and once by Berkeley Performance Motorcycles
- Engine runs great - starts on first crank
- New EBC front brake pads
- New Avon AM26 tires - front and rear
- Gets around 50 miles per gallon the way I ride. If you take it easy starting from stoplights, the manufacturer's claim is 57mpg.
- Clear Alternatives integrated taillight
- Clean title
The bad:
- She's been dropped twice on the left from standing still, and twice on the right side. The latter instances were from 5-10 mph or so, so there is a bit of rash on the fairing.
- Some damage to the license plate and license plate bracket. It's a weird place to get damaged, but come on over and I'll show you how it happened
- I don't have the toolkit (~$30 replacement) and I don't have the manual
Just for now, here is a pic of the exact same bike: http://www.psndealer.com/powersports.../NV14038_1.jpg
